Tab Toddlers meet on Wednesday’s at 9:30am until 11:45am in the upper hall. The aim is to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for infants and adults to explore play activities and make friends, and since it is run by Christians it is our prayer that something of Jesus’ love will show through.
We charge £1.50 per family per session and have 50-plus children on our register representing about forty families – eight of whom are Tab members. The majority of our members have no church connection.
We have a physical play area with slide, trampoline etc, craft tables with play dough, painting, cutting and gluing, a home area with toy kitchen, dolls’ cot and buggies etc, a sand tray, and garage on road mat, plus designated baby area.
Adults receive coffee or tea and scones halfway through the session at about 10:45 and children snacks and juice. The scones are freshly made by Kath and Freda each week.
Margaret Rutter is a great help to us each Wednesday, as are Kath & Jim and John & Marion. Marion rounds off each morning by leading the children in a sing-along.
