Heather and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary this Year (2016).  We have three married children and five grandchildren ….so far!  We moved to Stockton in 1973 and for many years I served as Sunday School Director and Elder at The Tab.  I took early retirement from teaching in April 2001 to join the Tab’s Ministry team.  After Roger Martin’s untimely death, David Taylor-Black and I looked after the church until Andrew Waugh was appointed.  Since retiring from my position as Assistant Minister in December 2012, I have headed up the Alpha Plus team.  Recently, I was appoined as The Moderator of the Northern Baptist Association.

I am a hospital doctor, married to Fiona, and we have three daughters and two grandsons. We came to Teesside 25 years ago, and settled in the Tabernacle. We have served in several roles, and always with a view to encouraging people to meet Jesus, to give their lives to him, and to follow him. Presently we help to lead the Alpha course, and I am also a lay preacher.
I have been an elder in “The Tab” for 21 years, and still support Arsenal.  I lead a local group of the Christian Medical Fellowship, and also serve on the National Board of CMF.

I work as an Engineer with what used to be ICI – times have changed since I moved down from Scotland 20 years ago!  Now married to Janet with Jack and Sarah keeping us busy as their taxi service.  I am part of the Boys’ Brigade and particulary enjoy the summer camp week, a field, fresh air and lots of football!
